Good taste in music!

I've just ordered one of these to try out. Not quite as hi-tech!

Are you fitting lasers to your bike? 😯

The laser line thing just seems to be inviting car drivers to overtake really close.
Unless the width they project at.

How's that then? The lasers are just an extra bit of visibility. Not "this is how much space I want" !

Used the laser lights last winter, they're pretty effective really as they're unusual so drivers take notice (and fortunately didn't have any so transfixed they ran into the back of me...). It only lasted about 4 rides before it died though, I wish there was a version that didn't look like it came out of a cracker (I've bought another make to try now but it's still dirt cheap, I'd rather pay £30 and have something that's made properly).

The seller I've ordered my light from says
"If for any reason you are not satisfied, simply let me know the reason and send straight back for a refund."

If the lasers are crap, I'll just use it as a normal rear light (or send it back and get one of the On Ones!)

For $250 I'd want the Tron wall things with it in order to mess with those lurking in my draft 😉

DezB - that seller is Torchy the Battery Boy

I know - should I be aware of him from here or something?

Anyway, update - got the light and the lasers look pretty good.
I will now have that with lasers and my Smart 1/2W above it shining on the road behind me. The smart makes a good pool of light when shining downwards.

Took a couple of pics of the laser.
Nice n bright:

If you tilt it back slightly the beams go wider:

It's quite a big chunk of a light though

http://www.miniinthebox.com/bicycle-spokelit-led-safety-light-for-bike-wheels-32-patterns_p400814.html

9 quid each you can't go wrong... I hope.

And I think you'll agree, these functions are hard to ignore.

There are 32 patterns totally.
It would be so cool riding at night.
It could only flash when it is moved, except the surroundings is very bright like daytime.
The both two sides can flash.
The whole pattern would appear at 25KPH, 15KPH would be bright, 10KPH just for safety light.

I saw a guy with those spokey light things.
it made me want some.
the good thing was that they were visible from behind too.
those revolights are totally amazing though. do they come as a set or could you pay half just for the fronts?

update (again) - I was most definitely given more space by cars wiv my special laser beams protecting me.
There are a few traffic islands on my roue where cars always squeeze past - none did tonight. I felt like I had a speshal forcefield protecting me. Unfortunately i was not sexy though, so no feeling ups.

Be careful when mounting the laser/rear light. I had one that bounced out its mount. Bought a replacement though and taped it to the bracket. I think its a great wee light.
