I have an A2 external routed Reverb seatpost that is misbehaving. Sounds familiar, i'm sure, but i can't seem to find anyone else on the internet having the same issue.
It operates like a rocket, except it won't stay down. Goes down fine, but as soon as it's unweighted shoots straight back up. Sort of defeats the object. I've bled it plenty but not sure what else might need looking at.
Anyone?
Either some of the oil has leaked out or the poppet isn't sealing. Does it hold your weight at full extension?
Pretty sure there's no oil leaking anywhere.
If i operate the lever and push it down it springs straight back up, then will continue to drop under my weight and return until i operate the lever again at which point it will lock and hold my weight again.

Sounds like your lever is sticking.
