Apologies as I'm sure this has been done before but the search function doesn't seem to be going back far enough.
I bought a bike for my wife yesterday from eBay? Saw the bike a few days before hand and everything seemed fine and working, well looked after, tested the Reverb and worked as usual.
When we were checking everything over yesterday evening we noticed that if you operate the Reverb a few times in a short space of time then it would start to stick when you are pushing it down, goes up ok. Wait about 30 seconds and it will operate as normal for a few cycles, then it starts sticking again.
Is this a problem that can be fixed with a bleed or will it need a full teardown?
Doesn't sound like a bleed issue, sounds maybe like something's getting hot - I'd give it a basic strip down.
Of course you won't be cycling it rapidly in use, but it will probably develop to the point it's noticeable if you just ignore it.
