[#4746091]

hi when i got my reverb im sure it came with a ziptie for the top tube, well, it was a small ziptie, but had this loop at the end of it, meaning you dont have run the cable directly against the frame? i had to cut mine off, thinking i had another one with the reverb kit, but i didnt

i cant seem to find one anywhere as a spare and i cant even find a pic of what it looked like

any ideas where i can get one?

Cut a small piece of brake bleeding tube

Feed normal zip tie through it , put round the hose, feed back through the brake bleeding tube. Then zip tie to frame tube as normal.

Do you mean the plastic piece which is held on with a zip tie but allows the cable to slide through? If so you can make one using 3 normal zip ties very easily.
Put one loosely around the frame and before doing it fully tight slide another around it. Lock the first one down. Then do the same with the second adding a third behind it. Lock the second down. Then close the third with the seatpost cable inside to the desired tension/size to allow the cable to move freely.

its not that bigger loop thing at the back of the reverb, just one for the top tube, its really neat, its basically just a ziptie, but has a sort of loop attached to the ziptie end so you can just thread the cable through......

just after one of those really, could make one im sure but cant be bothered (no offence intended as its ingenius im sure) just after getting one of the proper ones.....

at the minute im now running just a ziptie and now the cable is directly against the frame = rubbing

cant seem to find one anywhere 🙁

monogramman - just the proper one, as i can make do with just a ziptie at worst, but as above dont want it rubbing directly on frame if possible

they are neat as hell and quite a clever little design - yet i cant find a single picture of one anywhere

ps email me when your on your emails 😉

Three zip ties fella.

Or contact specializeds distributor and demand one from them; stating it was missing from the box!

Brought them seperately from Chain reaction, got my post from Germany and the only guide it came with was the one for the seatpost.

Nah mate, cheers for checking that's the back of the reverb so you can swivel it around depending which side of frame It's mounted on, thats like a rubber type loop thing, the one I'm after is just a ziptie with a loop/hose carrier type thing mounted on the end of it, really not noticeable but does the job perfectly

Lol all this for a ziptie

Mono - yes very similar, where that round nobbly bit on the end is, is where the hose goes through/clips into, It's like an open ended plastic piece of loop so you push the cable in and it runs about 5mm or so away from frame lol
