Logo should point to the front?

Was very sensitive to torque on the clamp. Recommended 60"lbs resulted in it sticking half way, so tightened to 30"lbs.

I swapped it round but looked wrong angle, but willing to be proven wrong.

RS logo facing rearwards on mine, hose would be in the wrong place facing forward Shirley. Can't help on the bolt issue though.

Very slight offset to the rear on my stealth and the clamp arrow pointing forwards on a 74deg seat angle. I haven't had any problems.

logo pointing back so the cable is on the none drive side.

You have it the wrong way round

Edit. stealth no stealth its the wrong way around

All the seat clamping elements have a little triangle machined in. All the triangles should point forwards. Logo at the back as above.

I have to broggle around to get my front bolt to bite on the nut thread as well. Once the thread has started its fine though and I get plenty of bolt through my nut, so to speak.

Does your frame have a crazy seat tube angle? [EDIT; must read OP thoroughly before engaging thought processes]

Not a Reverb, but my seatpost has exactly the same problem (worsened by elliptical carbon seat rails), I thought "silly me, assembled the seatpost the wrong way round", swapped it... no chance it would even do up! Both bolts are the same length, so not that either.

Doesn't specifically help, but it may not be user error. Also a normal hardtail in my case.

Still can't figure this out, i've disassembled & reassembled, i think its all correctly fitted, but only just have a thread showing through the front bolt...

Slacken the rear a few turns & tighten the front.

You are currently set to 12°

Thats the correct saddle position for me, so i can't wind the front in without compromising my saddle position.

also, any further than 12deg and the top clamp bottoms on the main clamp body at the rear.

I like a DJ saddle angle so run mine a fraction off the max angle too.

switch to a spoon/flux saddle and you'll get a few more degrees if you need the nose up further, your current saddle has quite a built up rear shoulder

I run my saddle level and it works fine.

Yours is rather extreme for a trail/XC bike (hate to climb with it like that) - you'll need to just use longer/shorter bolts.

But i don't get why i can't get a regular saddle angle on a regular frame...

b r longer/shorter bolts won't help as I've described above.

Whilst it is the right saddle angle for you its not really 'regular' - rail angle is well nose up compared to an average.

Then again, nowhere does qwerty say that they want to achieve more angle, just that they want more of the bolt to poke through the nut, for some reason.

A shorter one in the back, and a longer one in the front - based on your picture?

And anyway, you've still the saddle angle wrong.

Recommended 60"lbs resulted in it sticking half way, so tightened to 30"lbs.

60 foot pounds equates to 81nm, from what I remember reccomended torque is around 12nm, sure you haven't bent something?

THE REAR OF THE TOP SEATCLAMP BOTTOMS OFF THE REAR OF THE MAIN SEATCLAMP AT JUST OVER THE 12 DEGREE POSITION!

you can max it out with the supplied bolts, longer/shorter bolts will achieve nothing.

I run mine saddle nose up to the max angle possible.
