My fs bike has sat still over winter while it's filthy out and the Reverb has sat still for 3 months or so. Now when i drop the post it has a dry/scraping sound. I have ran a bit of lube around the seal and depress it a few times, but this has had no effect. So do i need it serviced or is there a foam ring or similar that i can lube my self,
It's the 2012 version with the black collar if that helps.

Flip it horizontal or upside down to get the lube spread around?
