My FS bike has a Reverb fitted , which i have had for 10 months or so. While giving the bike a full service before spring(i ride HT through winter) i noticed 2 things while operating the post.
Firstly the the post does not drop immediately when the remote is depressed. Am i right to presume this means it just needs bleeding.
Secondly when it does move it sounds 'dry' as it drops and rises. Do these post have an oil foam ring like Rockshoxs forks and if so can this be re lubed without doing a full strip down.
Go to your lbs and ask them to send it back to SRAM, I've done this twice now and it came back like new.
Clean the shaft, then lube it slightly. Push it up/down a few times to lube the seal.
You would only blead a fluid system if air had got in, and you would notice that.
