Just got a reverb post on a 2nd hand frame and it's not working.
It's a 2012 post and looks in good condition.
It originally had 0psi in and didn't work, so I pumped it up to 250psi and it's packed down and only showing 30-40 cm of post. I can pull it up by hand but it drops straight back to 30cm.
The remote does nothing, I've followed the SRAM bleed instruction for post and remote and there appears to be no air in the system.
Any ideas?
Send it to loco. Sounds like seals have perished.
Give him a email, or call, and see what he thinks. It'll be cheaper than buying a new one 🙂
I had a similar problem. Sent to TF Tuned where they diagnosed a scratched internal tube that was causing air to pass between chambers - still cheaper than a new one. Post now works as good as new.
