So I changed my hose on my reverb, and its now leaking from the seat post end whenever I press the lever. I've used 2 new barbs (?) And its still doing it. What am I doing wrong?
Anyone?
Mine did that, recut the hose, made sure it was square with no burrs etc and screwed it all back together and it seemed to seal up properly.
I've recut it etc so many times I've lost count now! I'm Really getting frustrated!
Have you put the copper washer back on the barb? Or has it disappeared into the floor never to be seen again?
Its sorted now. Although I have no idea which copper washer you are referring to?
I have also never seen a copper washer.
Mine did this. Turns out I just needed to do it up even tighter after a number of recuts and rebleeds. Tricky as you can't see when it's seated cos of the protector bit.
