Hi I might be being a bit stupid but just got a new RockShox Reverb 2012 and there are some parts that came with it that I cant figure out what they are for.
Its the bit of aluminum with a hole in the middle looks a little like a tooth or a vertebra but not really and the spare bolt with the red rubber end.

the vertebra bit fits in round the remote clamp to teh bar if you havent got sram shifters i believe
Yep - the black bit is as cream egg describes ie for use if you don't 'matchmake' to Avid brake levers.
The screw protected by a red plastic sheaf is for use if you mount your shifters matchmaker style (only if you have full SRAM kit,shifters & Avid brake levers).
