[#7105515]

I have a bit of a problem reverb that I've just done a full rebuild of, which involved (for various reasons) removing the hose from the seatpost. The lever is a RH one mounted on the left so I have to flip it over to bleed it. When bled it all seems to work fine but when I flip the lever back over it immediately stops working. Does this sound like a sealing issue in the lever?

Reverb hoses are pretty intolerant of the barb's not being 100% perfectly fitted.

I just rebuilt my seatpost and it started to slow down almost straight away.

So I made sure I properly tightened both barb's (I used a vice and the yellow blocks you get with Shimano brake to get a really solid grip on the hose)

I bled it again and it was spot on.

Interesting, thanks. I'll give that a go.
