Hi
Had an issue with my Reverb seat post not extend during a ride so thought I would check the air pressure and do a bleed. Checked air and 250psi as it should be, started a bleed. So filled syringes, moved remote, set seat post up now as soon as I undid the bleed screw on the remote the seat post dropped like someone was sat on the post (they weren't) and fluid shot out! Any ideas? Google has nothing, have I blown a seal out is it completely buggered? Its a non stealth and about 4 years old

Sounds like the poppet valve seal(s) have gone. Seems an unusual failure mode, but I guess a full service will sort it.

That's what I thought but hoped for a cheaper fix!
