[#5090152]

downloaded paid for and disappointed.....really looking forward to it but 30 mins in it is dire drivel.scotland...midges singletrack and they call it bike mountainering...france a ride up alpe d'huez...switzerland bit more intresting........... but not the advert for mountain biking or the difference to kranked or earthed.

Roam Seasons and Collective still the best.....

any other recommendations

The Collective stuff doesn't do it for me...I've no interest in watching folk jumping off stuff...I want lots of natural riding up, down and across in some stunning scenery. No interest in listening to people talking.

I haven't found many and the closest is Vast...

As I have said on every thread about this crappy film, too much focus on the dull whiney americans, not enough focus on the riding and adventure.

RtP is the only biking video I have any interest in. Repeated shots of folk jumping off stuff, skidding round corners and generally zipping along to "high octane" music has nothing to do with what I call mountain bikingMSP has a point though. It would have been better if we'd seen more of the riding

The market is there for the films, I think loads of people would appreciate films that featured adventure style riding in great locations. The film that we all hoped reveal the path could and should have been.

I suspect that the production would be very difficult though, setting up shots in lots of different locations. A lot easier to film new age hippies talking about their spiritual experiences or teenagers doing big jumps.

In the trailer I see beards, fatbikes AND 29ers, surely this is the ultimate STW film?

i went to a showing of RtP. luckily i was sat next to the bar so at least i could entertain myself rather than walking out... could have been so much better. fair enough if you dont want to see mad skillz, but to me RtP was just following few fellas moping around on niche bikes with no real purpose and whinging about the privilige rather than an inspirational film

Reveal the path was a little worthy, especially the fat bike dudes. There previous film ride the divide was ace though, Matthew lee is a legend.

One of faves is home and find, both made by reset films. Follow me too.
