Just about to change a tubeless tyre, - any reason I can't scoop out the sealant from the existing/previous tyre and reuse it in the new one, - with some more sealant to top up?
...not meaning to be a scant, but otherwise i'd just be pouring it down the drain. Previous sealant and previous tyre was just on for a week

No reason at all, as long as same sealant..

Sure scoop away, just take out any bits.

Doing this works to a point but you can end up with all the watery stuff and none of the bits that actually seal the punctures, so don't be too thrifty (not speaking from personal experience... ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

Cool thanks. Coming from a tyre that was fitted recently so should be safe enough by the sound of it.

Can't make my mind up with bloody tyres. Worse than my wife with shoes ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Changing from Hans Dampf to Magic Mary on the front. No doubt the weather will go bone dry before the next enduro race in a couple of weeks and I'll be changing back to the HD just in case the Magic Mary is too draggy ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Whenever I think of changing a tyre because it isn't grippy enough I remind myself that I've been left behind in slippery condition by more skilled mates on even less suitable tyres. Likewise with slow-rolling tyres and faster mates! I'm not sure I'd even bother for a race right now because it'll only mean the difference between a few places in the middle of the pack... If I had a hope of a podium place I suspect I'd turn up to races with a car full of tyres, though! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I use a small syringe to pick it up and can then squirt it through the valve into the new tyre.
