[Closed] Returning forks to Merlin under warranty

I've got a problem with my RS Lyrik that I bought from Merlin and am guessing that I'll need to send them back. If anyone has sent forks back to them how quickly did they turn them round?
Also, did they refund postage costs and who is the best company to use for the return postage?
Cheers
Steve

They should if they are faulty. Best idea is to call them a by the problem, confirm how to send them back and that they will reimburse you.

Did you buy them direct? Your warranty claim is with the retailer in the first instance.

The supplier is liable for return postage unless you were clearly told otherwise at the time of purchase. They're within their rights to make you pay, but they have to be up front about that.

Ah, sorry, I misread Merlin as Marin. Ignore the first question.

We are sorry but we are unable to refund postage costs.

There you go, then.

Yes, will be ringing Merlin this morning.

We are sorry but we are unable to refund postage costs

Arse...when I had to send my KS back to Germany they paid the postage, twice. Shirley if it's a verified warranty claim they should refund then claim back from the distributor?

From what I gather they don't refund your postage costs for you posting the fork to them, but presumably they will pay to get the forks back to you?

I too have some forks that need sending back to Merlin under warranty but won't be able to get them off for a couple of weeks.

Just spoken to them and they are sending a DPD returns form so postage is being paid by them ๐Ÿ˜€

Great service...just hope they don't take too long as I'm due to go away next weekend

Merlin did me proud when the Poploc failed on my Reba's . They took a look , sent them on to Fishers where they put in a new compression damper and seals etc FOC , also Merlin replaced the bladder from my Camelbak FOC after 2 years under the lifetime warranty . Good chaps to deal with .

I had issues with a set of Rebas that I purchased from Merlin.
Sent them back and had them fixed by fishers (who replaced seals and CSU!) and then Merlin forwarded them on. Great communication throughout and whole process only took a couple weeks. Proves a cheap mail-order shop can do customer service too. Well done Merlin!
