So, being somewhat behind the times, I'm still running an adjustable cup BB in my SS (1992 Kona in purple, natch). It needs the bearings to be replaced (cheers simplybearings), though the cups are in good nick.

I've got the lockring and fixed cup tools, but need a pin spanner.

Question is, which pin spanner do I need (since it's going to have to be an online order - I can't believe bike shops stock these any more).

The adjustable cup is an old Tange with "1.37x24T" marked on it. Pin holes appear to be approx 2.5-3mm dia.

Any ideas or am I over-complicating this? ๐Ÿ™‚

For the amount of times you will use it, probably this will be ok...

You just have to remember your loading bearings and not tightening wheel nuts on a car B-)
