[#737843]

I have an S-works 2005 sumpjumper FSR120 and it currently has the septune shock. I know in 2006 they introduced the Brain in these , is there any way to retrofit a brain on my frame ? I only have the 2 lugs at the rear fro the Brake caliper and I believe for 2006 they added an extra lug on the frame to accomodate the brain. Has anyone retrofitted one of these ??

Thanks

i havent retrofitted but i did have an 05 epic with a brain and 05 fsr120 with septune. I always thought the brain needed too much of a hit to set off the shock and had it softened. Moving to the 120 was a big improvement and I wouldnt have wanted a brain on it if it was like the one i'd had. Having said that the later brains were i believe a big improvement over the early versions, with adjustable threshold so i'd be on the look out for one of them.

Yep that was the other option replacing the septune with an RP23 ๐Ÿ™‚
Maybe easier to go down that route

Cheers for the replies
