I have an old MBK Ranger i'm putting back together. Nothing special in its time. Should i try to keep it original or would i be ok to respray a different colour, but not replace stickers and all that?

Is it lurid fluoro mix like my MBK was?

it is that awful mix. Hard to make it pretty again though. The other strangeness i had forgotten about was the , non-circular inner tubes. the ones which were like a snake, rather than a hoop
