Staying for a week in mid Wales, and after a few hours in the lashing down rain at bwlch Nant yr arian I can't help but check out websites for better shoes and full length trousers. I know I'm a soft southerner. But in my defence I live in the driest county of Suffolk and WITHOUT hills.

I must say though after thinking I need full suspension, a day in the hills with my 65degree head angle HT is more than enough. Jesus the climbs nearly killed me. But alas I can't buy 2 packs of fitness at the visitors centre

Anyone else come straight back from a ride and thought I really need... X...?

that's a given.

rear tyre that is not a Maxxis Tomahawk.
what's wrong with the maxxis?

The ride before last was the last straw with the POS dropper post sticking down. They complain about it in all the reviews. So bought an E*thirteen dropper for the better half and a brand X for myself.

It kept trying to kill me! (Practically no braking grip on anything other than bone dry, hard surfaces)
