Let's just say that I have this 'friend' who is thinking of buying a carbon frame that may or may not have a numerical name and may or may not be produced by a Yorkshire-based bicycle company who may or may not have a named based on a preposition and the first cardinal number. Okay? Good.

The frame he may or may not by would be black. He would possibly like it to be another colour. Would he have difficulty getting it resprayed and is there anything he would have to be careful of when doing so?

Or not? ๐Ÿ™‚

Well on-one say you can paint a matt black 456 carbon with car paint, but I don't know about your friend's bike.

Yes, nothing special about painting carbon, you can do it your self with rattly cans or have a pro paint shop do it. Argos certainly would.

A friend of mine has had his china carbon frame resparayed by a company called Fat Creations who are based around Southampton or Bournemouth. The guy did a really nice job on it.
