I am looking to purchase a high quality, durable outboard BB for a HollowTech XT crank set.
A very laden down, long range touring bike is my spec.
Would a Phil Wood xBB by Sideways Cycles be a good choice, or is there a better alternative?

I bought a very nice stainless steel Hope BB on saturday to replace an original FSA BB that only lasted 6 months. Comes in a range of colours as well. silky smooth but a tad expensive at £69.00 from Royles in Wilmslow. The good thing is that the bearings can be replaced.
