Does that point to the orientation of the ring? Or does it not matter? Removed old one which was covered in crap so didn't make note of its position.
Anyone?

Supposed to line up with the crank arm.Makes no odds as there's no profiling to the teeth.

Inline with crank arm but ive never found it to make a diffrence.

Ta, inline being opposite so triangle pointing to the drive crank?
There does look to be a bit of profiling to the teeth I'd rather get it right as trying to stop chainsuck
