[Closed] replacing orange swingarm bearings

is it ok to put grease on the outer surface on the bearing when reinstalling them? I cant get the bearing to move all the way onto the pivot pin as it is pretty much stuck where it is in the swingarm.

always put grease where you get metal on metal contact.

are you sure about that? I thought the swingarm has to grip the bearings or else it could just slide off??

i have done, it says to apply copperslip to the internal bearing surface. doesnt mention the outer surface....
