I've just picked up an old Iron Horse Sachem 6.0. I'm upgrading bits and bobs, just to modernise the spec.
The only thing I'd like to change now is the rear shock. It has one of the old Fox Vanilla Spring Shocks, I'd like to put a more modern shock on there. Any advice on what I should replace it with, sizes, etc.

Rear Shock: Fox Vanilla R 7.875"X"2.25"
