As in the title, I'm looking for new shoes. I loved my old shimanos and wore them for everything daily for the past three years. Just wondering how other shoes might be a better alternative. I guess the only thing that let the old ones down was water resistance - not so much for mtbing - I'll take whatever is thrown at me then - but for daily use.
I bike around for appointments with work and don't want to turn up or suffer a whole day with wet, smelly shoes. My current alternative is to wear goretex walking boots and change when I get to the appointment but that's more stuff and faff.
These Shimano AM45 seem like a good idea but I'm not sure I can carry off the style. Or can I?
Any good trail style shoes that are as durable as Shimano at similar price point?
Luckily, the universe didn't implode under the paradox upon my discovery of indoor mtb shoes.
Lake are usually pretty good.
