Hi there, just found that my much loved Scandal has a crack at the BB-chainstay junction. Gutted as I love that bike 🙁
So, what are my options?
It's a 14" horizontal drop-out frame, very rare (although happy to be proved wrong). As I've litte stumpy legs the low standover and long top-tube fits me brilliantly.
So, repair? Can aluminium be welded reliably and cost effectively?
Replacement? What else is there in that sort of shape?
