In true total ARSE fashion, while truing the rear wheel, I've gone and scratched the little shiny bits of plastic that cover my 105 brake levers. This is a totaly sad thing, as I've only just aquired the bike - a lovely tidy-as, pre-loved Jake the Snake.

Can you get hold of replacement shiny plastic cover bits for the levers, or has Shimano done its usual?

Hmmm...

Ok - what exact model number are your STI's?

I just went on shimano's website to find the part number and my LBS ordered for me for a couple of quid as I leaned my roadbike against my wall a few times -I think they make them from swiss cheese.

See if the new shimano 105 covers are compatible and get them instead.
