I've got a 10 speed shimano XTR M986 that the lower jocky wheel is doing a fantastic impression of a Japanese throwing star, I've tried some spare jocky wheels I've got but the gear change becomes terrible. From previous threads I suspect it's something to do with Dyna sis ? The jocky wheel is thicker on the inner edge to aid changing gear but all I can find is £30 direct replacements from Germany, if that's the only option fine but I'm sure I'm not the first with this issue?
Do SLX/XT have the same shape but lesser quality jockey wheels?
Thanks for any help.
