Hi,

I need to replace the pins in my Superstar Nano thru' pin pedals. Does anyone know what size screws I need? I was thinking of "upgrading" to use Straitline pedal pins, as those pedals feel ridiculously grippy. Does anyone know if they will fit and are there any other compatibility issues? Obviously they won't screw in from the back side, but I can't see that mattering.

Cheers.

I've read that Wah Wahs have m3x8mm pins, seeing as they come from the same place it's likely to be the same for your Nano Thrus.

Thanks for your help. Anyone else replaced the pins on a set of Nanos?

You need so measure the diameter and decide which length you want then have a look on ebay, loads to choose from.

Yep, replaced mine with slightly shorter pins as the original ones were a bit too grippy for my liking. I just picked up a set of pins from eBay.

Just select the length pins you want. Think I got 6mm, as the originals were 8mm - basically any M4 grub screw will work.

I actually converted mine to a thru-bolt (3mm metal bit then 4mm tap) but use m4 x 12mm socket dome screws (18mm? for the edges), but obviously screw them in from the underneath.
