I'm just about to replace my jockey wheels in my SLX rear mech.
Should i go for original Shimano ones OR some bling KCNC or similar....?

And would the anodised KCNC or similar ones wear out the chain quicker than standard ones....?

Cheers

I use Toronto cycles ones. Bought a bunch for some guys I ride with who all needed some too as there was no point in us all paying postage. Excellent service from them.

As for wearing out the chain - I wouldn't worry about it. Chain is steel, sprockets are aluminium. Also There is no real loading unlike the chainring and cassette which are transferring power.

I just have the $12 ones.

Obviously the anodizing wears off from the teeth but you don't notice it much. If it worries you get silver.

Or just stick with original ones (but not XT etc as too expensive).
