Ok I was running a XTR M985 long cage rear mech with a triple on the Solaris, until I picked up a stone last sunday and exploded the mech.
The Cage is shagged- £14 & £55 for the alloy & carbon plates and the B axle is totalled as well £24.
However only the £55 carbon plate is in stock (funny that!)
I think I can use a XT Cage or a One up RAD cage, swop it on to the FSR which has a double (27-39 on the front, 36-12 on the back)
I think that will work:-)?
But I'm still stuck for a B axle link and bolt set up. Different bolt sizes to a XT.
Are there any alternatives out there?
Half price replacement mech any use? 980 not 985, but...

Cheers, not really as its non clutch.
Also I'd still have the workings of good mech sat on the bench and be trying to work out how to fix it, which is where me and my OCD are now:-)
Radr cage gives you both cages for $55. Petra Cycles might have the other spare part, always been good in the past for me, get the Shimano part numbers from the exploded diagrams on their site.

I'll check out petra thanks, got the RAD cage covered above.
Well the B axle seems to be pretty much extinct in the UK.
wasn't someone offering at modified version to use with a 42t cassette?
