I need to replace a hose on a set of juicy brakes. Juicy 5 from a 2006 stumpy. Has anyone seen the kits cheap anywhere? Are any of the aftermarket ones any good? Do you keep the easy bleed caliper bolt with the aftermarket kits? The ssc ones are keenly prices. Anyone tried those?

Cheers.

I've done this with the Superstar hose and fittings, no problems. Bled them "normally" with one of the ebay syringe kits. Hose feels a bit cheap, which it is.

Cheers Simon. Was that the steel or kevlar hose? Does it keep the caliper bolt with the bleed screw then?

Thanks.

It was the cheapo plastic hose... I can't remember if I re-used the original caliper bolts or not. Give Neil at SS a call!

I have a load of vaious Juicy hoses lying about if you want a direct replacement. What length do you need? I've got the 'barb' and olive too. Will do the lot - assuming the length is right - for a few Guiness tokens.

Yes you keep the bleed bolt.

Cheers mk1fan. I'll check the length tonight. It's for the wife, she just needs a couple more inches over what's already available!!!!!!

Have you got something around 50 inch (127 cm)?

Cheers.
