Hi all,

I recently taco-ed my current dt swiss wheelset (26" with 15mm thru axle) and was curious if anyone had any advice on a replacement pair.  I ride freeride/enduro and ride it hard but don't have the money to spend on a pro pair of wheels.

Thank you!

What about building new rims onto your hubs

Sadly the hubs are also screwed.  Actually, the front one is fine but the back is destroyed sadly.  Would it still be cheaper to build buying rim, spokes and hub seperately?

Could go to Planet X and get their el guapo 100x15 front hub for £15 if they still have them in stock for the front. Stick some wtb st -i25’s on them - they were also £15 last time I looked. Rear hub likely to be more expensive - either go Shimano (and keep bearings grease) or maybe Novatech from Aliexpress to keep it cheap.

Halo straight gauge spokes are about £10 per wheel.

Obv build yourself to keep in budget!
