[#1767860]

A load of play in the back end of my bike and apparently bushings need replacing. Thinking of buying tool from BETD (about £25) but was wondering if anyone knows of shop in London who might do it for me for around the same cost. I know it's probably an idea to get the tool but figured it could be a false economy if I screw it up!

THe two bike shops I've asked so far have said they'd send it off to Mojo - surely there must be a shop in London that stocks bushings and can change them? Anyone?

If any LBS can't change the bush in a Fox shock, they seriously need to get a grip
It's a 2 minute job

Thanks mudpup will try moose cycles. I went to Mosquito bikes (who I thought were supposed to know a thing or two) and they said the'd have to send it off.

+1 tool - I got mine ages ago and used is loads - paid for itself - gonna do my mates sometime as well 🙂 If you got a vice its even easier with a bushing tool 🙂

Or you could try the old age way of two sockets & a vice, works well enough if you're careful.
What sort of shop is it though that can't/won't fit a shock eye bush!?

London shops...only good for coloured rims and fixing up your free hub. Moose cycles looks good but bit far away for me

So the tool it is. BETD OK or can anyone recommend another? Links would be ace.

Get your bushes here

http://simplybearings.co.uk/shop/p60276/0808DU+1/2+Inch+X+1/2+Inch+Bush/product_info.html

1/4 of the price of the exact same thing from Fox or LBS... 🙂
