It's got a tear in the rear qtr where the material joins the shell. Not enough material left to be stiched or glued back together so needs another approach,any good home repair tips?

recover it yourself with a bit of leather easily available from ebay and some carpet adhesive. search for leather offcuts. i got a bit for £4 which could cover 3 saddles. ideally you want something about 1-1.5mm thick and quite stretchy
