I have a death crack on the seat tube of my Ibis Mojo.
Ibis have offered to replace the front triangle for a reasonable (but not inconsiderable) amount of money, a local bike shop wants to put me in touch with someone who will repair it for a quarter of that, and having investigated a little, he seems very capable of repairing carbon.
Money is an issue, but so is safety, if I must replace, I will, but does anyone here know enough about carbon repair that I can ride this road with confidence?
Well repaired it'll probably end up stronger than before
like any repair a good quality one will be fine and a low quality one will not be fine
I would not refuse to repair carbon personally any more than any other material it would depend on what exactly was being repaired and how
