Would like to use a bling-tastic Renthal or e*thirteen chain ring as the outer ring on the Ramones.
I realise they're intended for single-ring setups but would they work on a 2x9?

Nope. Shifting would be nigh on impossible.

I've tried this.
It worked but that more down to the use of a traditional thumbie rather than rapidfire.
Neigh on impossible otherwise as above.
