[#1862860]

Got myself a 34T Renthal chainring (nice looking thing that it is) with a view to fitting it to an XT chainset. obviously it has no shift ramps and is on the chunky side width wise, which i had'nt forseen.

Anyone used one/got any thoughts about compatibility?

I have a similarly thick Azonic middle ring for my commuter bike that was cheap on CRC and that shifts fine.

Pretty sure they are designed for single ring up front, so longer teeth and designed to hold chain not shift.

On the plus side if the price is right I might have it off your hands for my single speed ๐Ÿ™‚

Yeah, single ring makes sense looking at it but similar one works ok on my other bike.

Just have to give it a spin!

Yep they are for singles only, BUT they are working on double and triple rings.
