I have an old Mercian which I fancy getting resprayed. I've contacted Mercian to get a cost and lead time...it's 8 weeks!
Can anyone recommend somewhere that can do a good job but with a shorter lead time?

if you're around leeds bob jackson are very good, bit pricey tho.

i've had a tube replaced by ellis briggs. they were quick with that and i was happy with the job although i didn't get it resprayed.
How about contactoing Steve Goff in Skelmersdale - his frames seem well finished. Or brian Rourke in Stoke. Or Paul Hewitt in Leyland.
Can't think of any other NWest framebuilders...
