Can't get the V brake bosses off the (steel, rigid) fork on my Surly. Stuck tight and am in danger of rounding the nuts off (if I haven't done so already!). Any suggestions as to how best to free them, or is it a bike shop job?
Have tried a spray of GT but no use - threads look like they have paint in them. All suggestions gratefully received!
