Im going single ring on the front.
Will my old square taper removal tool work?
Will my shimano hollow tech crank fit straight in or do I need to swap the bb as well?
It's on a 2007 orange 5.

Farily old chainset, so it might be one of 3 axle standards. However its unlikely to have joy with your old tool as its probably too small - the head will wedge into the inside of the axle, however I have solved this in the past using a 5p piece on the end of the axle to give the puller something to butt against and not wedge into the axle, that of course does depend on the crank/axle combo as to whether it will work for you.
The BB should be good for a Shimano crank.
