Hi, trying to remove some old (80s) cranks and don't know how to undo the nut holding them on. Bought a 15mm socket - which will fit the nut but won't fit into the recess in the crank, therefore can't undo the nut. What do I neeed to get these f*ckers off?

Cheers

Joe

Cheers JoB, for some reason my toolkit comes with a crank puller, but not the bit to undo the nut. Which is a pain. LBS tomorrow then.

Smaller sockets ๐Ÿ™‚ I've a set of 1/2 inch drive sockets that wont fit them and a set of 3/8 drive that will. Or LBS visit of course.

Just ordered one from wiggle. Tried a 1/4 14mm and a 3/8 15mm both to no avail!
