Can anyone recommend a bike friendly B&B near Whinlatter forest?

Planning a day session there on the way to Dumfries/Glentress later in the year, thought I'd break the journey up from Yorkshire.

Phone KMB in Keswick - they have cards for a few,
or these folk are friends of mine and will certainly look after you well. They're on the other side of the pass from Keswick, in Lorton (15 minute pedal to trail).
Mail me if you fancy some company (ride eve/weekend or beer).

Graham & Gena @ Havington House (017687) 75582

Mark & helen @ Greysoke G.House (017687) 72603

Phil & Gill @ grassmoor G.House (017687) 74008.

They are all within a block or 2 of each other, not far from Keswick town center and are involved with the Tuesday night MTB possy.....

Hope this helps!

Try Max at KMB. He let's absolutely anyone stay at his house at the base of the Whinlatter trail for free. He will also throw in free food, booze and a lesson in MTB respect that you will never forget as long as you live.
