I've removed the black end caps and centre piece in the vice, just left with the white pieces in the shock.

You can see that I've made a hamfisted start, too flexible to lock it the vice and grips.

Any ideas cheers?

Bit like top hats I guess. Not going to come out with a bushing removal tool then.

A thick bolt extractor maybe?

Pair of long nosed pliers works for me....surprisingly easy.

Yes, just grip the projecting lip with narrow nosed pliers and pull. If one wont move try the other. Once one's out the other can be drifted out if it wont pull.

Little flat screwdriver with a bit of tape on the end.Stick it in the slot in the center and push. You'll be amazed how easy they come out and nothing like as tight as a DU.The gap is for getting them out.
