[Closed] removing copter tape residue from carbon frame

[#5842077]

Have taken some peeling copter tape off my carbon ht frame, which has left some residue. Before I retape I want to clean the frame.

With ally frames I've used meths/petrol/diesel. But a bit concerned those might attack the carbon: would rather not watch frame disintegrate in front of me.

So: any suggestions for what to use? Cheers.

Mr Sheen household polish works a treat.

You might need an alcohol wipe before putting the new tape on, just to make sure that it sticks properly

Baby oil, cheap vodka and some energetic rubbing. That's the weekend sorted, bike will have to wait...
