On my 07 Patriot, I resorted to a hammer !

Race face cranks all use different methods of extraction - and the ones on mine were frubbish construction, so I just chucked them away !!

I guess that doesn't help

Is it the 8mm self extracting bolt?
If so just undo center 8mm bolt, acts against the 16mm outer cap pulling non drive side crank off.
I neded to persuade the axle and drive side crank out with mallet.
To repleace just tighten 8mm bolt on non drve side.

I don't think it's a self extractor on RF Evolves. Instead you'll need to remove the crank bolt and get a crank puller in there instead.

Instructions are here:

This has an 8mm Allen key , there is no plastic cap but just a plastic washer around the bolt

I have a 2013 five, the crank bolt is not self extracting.
Undo the bolt and use a crank puller as normal on the drive side.
The bolt and the crank on the spline were both bloody tight on mine despite being heavily greased.

yup, you need a crank puller or a BFH* in that case.
