now got a trek 27.5 with bolt on front mech, removed the mech to go single ring, but left with a bare metal ugly thing, are there covers available?

Yep, superstar need a mm taken off groove to fit. But, then it's superstar!

I just covered mine in an appropriately sized piece or two of Gorilla tape... no bottle opener but an awful lot cheaper.
