Got an x9 3 speed gripshift, can I remove the indexing on it?
I'm not too fussed about it, but would prefer it if it wasn't.

Inside the the 'grip' -You could smooth the plastic 'index wave' - that the index spring rides over.
But I think if you took too much away there might no be enough friction to hold the mech tension in position.
I hardly ever need to tweak mine to stop it rubbing - is your front mech set up on a hair trigger?

Haven't even put it on yet. Was thinking about it and I don't actually think it is possible without losing tension so I'll just leave it as is.
