[Closed] Remote front forks lockout saga.

Ok, bare with me on this! As per my other post on the subject I ordered up a relacement lever and cable (front)from the supplier which arrived this morning, however the label on the packageing states that the kit was as follows " Service set 2011 Rear Remote AM Lefty Lockout lever". The cable is miles too long and would require cutting to make it short enough for the front forks but the cable outer is armoured so cutting it would be a bugger and to cut the inner cable would distort it to the effect that I would not be able to feed it through the tiny apertures it has to go through to get to to the cable clamp, which itself is tiny. I phoned the supplier and was told that cutting was the way, but I'm not so sure, Surely if they have a rear kit, they would also have a front kit. Has the supplier fobbed me off?,,,,any thoughts?
