Came across something similar being filmed… riding up FoD downhill trails (repeatedly).

Meh. Bike with motor gets driven up steep slope.

Next.

Ok, that was actually pretty good. I would love to have a go on that with a proper bike.

Where is it?

The slab is in the Avon Gorge, just by the Clifton Suspension Bridge - I used to run that way at lunchtime when I worked nearby. The advantage of an e-bike is the smooth power-delivery, particularly as there's little run-up to get some speed-up but the I'd be more interested to see if it was actually rideable under human power - fat bike with a slick made from a de-knobbed Jumbo Jim would probably be the best tool for the job.

The comment about the long wheelbase of one of the bikes is interesting. I think it would give you a bigger sweet spot between keeping weight on the rear wheel and looping out.

I always fancied building a bike with a 29er rear wheel, short fork and kids bike front wheel. Whap mega low gears on it and see what was the steepest thing you could ride up.

Yep. I'm intrigued whether you could turn on it and hence make it much less steep.

Amazing that the bloke on the 50lb e-bike makes a stoppie down there look easier than Ashton's effort is all I'm thinking.

The haterz need to wind their necks in - it's a bit of fun. E-bikes are fun!

Ha, as a massive coincidence, I’m wearing a Feebal branded tshirt today too!

Anyone know the relevance?

Are they trying to impress us or just having a laugh and filming it?

Anyway, I think you'd be better off on a bike with a front wheel motor.
